Job Description:
The Raw Material Handler/Inventory Control performs a variety of tasks required to maintain parts for production areas. These tasks may include, but are not limited to receiving parts in stock, inventory control, ensuring parts are properly identified and transporting and key punching or scanning material to proper areas.

Reports To: Inventory Control Supervisor

- Overtime and Saturday’s work may be required
Responsibilities:
- Job requires the ability to print and read labels.
- Moving materials between areas; following routing, delivery tickets, or orders. Transport a variety of raw materials, supplies, and in-process/finished products.
- Work includes pulling orders together for production and/or gathering or distributing product or materials within the production area.
- Keep designated work areas supplied with materials.
- Stack materials safely in designated staging/storing areas.
- Some packaging may be required.
- Use of pallet jacks and may occasionally use a riding forklift in and between production departments, buildings, shipping/receiving dock, and storage areas.
- Workers may use bar code readers, computer terminals or other electronic devices to track product.
- Should have practical understanding and use of four basic arithmetic functions.
- Performs housekeeping to maintain production and operations in neat and orderly condition.
- Assure that work practices are in the guidelines of OSHA standards.
- Follow all Environmental Health and Safety rules, and ISO requirements.

When performing tasks associated with material handling the individual may exert up to 50 pounds of force by pushing and/or pulling, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Able to lift 30lbs overhead.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.
- The employee is frequently exposed to oils and greases or coolants.

· Factory/plant work experience a plus.
· Detail oriented.
· Able to meet Forklift certification requirements a plus.

· Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
· Computer literate a plus.
· Strong hand/eye coordination.
· Team player and able to work well with others.

Education/ Experience:
- Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent
- Position requires valid driver’s license.
- Previous manufacturing warehouse experience preferred
