The Warehouse Manager oversees all warehouse operations at the assigned branch location. This role ensures the efficient, safe, and effective management of inventory, equipment, and logistics processes at the branch level. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for staff management, compliance with health and safety regulations, implementation of operational standards, and coordination with the logistics manager and branch manager to meet project requirements. Key Responsibilities:
WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS & INVENTORY Management:
Oversee the overall operation of the branch warehouse(s), ensuring efficient and effective inventory management both inside the building and in all field vehicles
Ensure safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and staging of materials for assigned jobs
Operate warehouses like storefronts with secure access limited to authorized personnel
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, conducting regular audits for accountability
Manage the maintenance and repair of company tools and equipment, controlling expenditures and staying within budgetary guidelines
Manage the replenishment of materials and equipment in field vehicles so they are always stocked and prepared for upcoming jobs
Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software
COLLABORATION & LOGISTICS SUPPORT:
Coordinate with logistics manager, branch manager, and project teams to ensure timely and accurate material delivery
Support field operations by aligning warehouse output with project schedules and jobsite needs
Identify and help implement cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement strategies
Support timely and accurate accounting, by promptly processing vendor bills and credit memos, batching receipts, and assisting in the resolution of any related discrepancies
TEAM LEADERSHIP & DEVELOPMENT:
Recruit, train, and manage any warehouse staff and parts runners
Foster a culture of high performance, safety, and continuous learning
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and industry standards related to warehouse operations and logistics
