Warehouse Inventory Clerk – 2025 Spring / Temp / Seasonal Assignment

Eden Brothers is hiring a temporary employee to fill a Warehouse Inventory Clerk role during our busy Spring season.

Compensation : $17.50 per hour

Employment type : Temporary / Seasonal

Schedule : Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, alternative schedules are available (7am -3pm and 8am -4pm)

40 hrs. / week

Job duration : Mid-January through end of May

Position Description :

The Warehouse Associate performs various duties in the warehouse related to production and fulfillment. These assignments can vary from day to day depending on the business needs. See below for a list of general duties.

Requirements :

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Count inventory of seeds, bulbs, and materials to ensure accurate stock levels.
• Conduct regular inventory audits, focusing on seasonal and high-demand seeds and bulbs, to maintain precise records.
• Inspect and record incoming shipments of seeds and bulbs, ensuring they meet quality standards and match purchase orders.
• Organize and label seeds, bulb crates, and other planting materials for efficient storage and retrieval.
• Perform cycle counts and adjust inventory discrepancies for both seed and bulb stock.
• Replenish shelves from back stock to ensure products are always available for picking.
• Rotate stock to ensure older inventory is prioritized for picking, reducing waste and expired products.
• Utilize inventory management software to input and track movements of seed varieties, bulb types, and related supplies.
• Identify and segregate damaged, expired, or non-viable seeds and bulbs, coordinating their proper disposal or return.
• Prepare and move bulk quantities of seeds or bulbs between warehouses to balance stock levels.
• Maintain clean and organized storage areas, minimizing contamination risks for seeds and bulbs.
• Other duties, as needed, to support inventory and operational efficiency.

Working Conditions : Warehouse environment

Physical Requirements : This job requires standing / walking during the majority of the shift and being able to push and pull a heavy cart and lift up to 50lbs.
