Responsibilities
- QA / QC Program Development and Management : Create, implement, and continuously improve a comprehensive QA / QC program for all civil engineering projects. Develop checklists, procedures, and templates to guide quality processes.
- Technical Standards and Training : Define and enforce technical standards within the firm, staying up-to-date with the latest industry codes, design standards, and best practices. Provide training and guidance to engineering staff on QA / QC procedures.
- Quality Reviews and Audits : Conduct regular audits and in-depth technical reviews of designs, plans, calculations, specifications, and reports to verify accuracy, completeness, and adherence to client requirements.
- Documentation and Reporting : Maintain meticulous documentation of all QA / QC activities, create reports on quality metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
- Corrective Action and Improvement : Initiate corrective and preventive actions when non-conforming work or processes are identified. Collaborate with project teams to implement solutions and prevent future issues.
- Regulatory Compliance : Ensure designs and deliverables meet all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
