Job Description:
Eden Organic Pasta Company 9104 Culver St., Detroit.
Position: Machine Operator / Pasta Maker.
Reports to: General Manager, Eden Organic Pasta Company.
Reports to: General Manager, Eden Organic Pasta Company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- A proficient team member knowledgeable about food safety and sanitation, and GMPs.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures for production and company operations.
- Skilled operation of pasta-making and associated equipment.
- Perform operations consistent with facility Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Conscientiously handle inventory to avoid damage or adulteration.
- Produce a finished product that reliably meets specifications.
- Monitor all aspects of the facility as it relates to production and accuracy.
- Accurately complete daily production batch record entries.
- Help in the maintenance and overall condition of the facility, equipment, and inventory in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
- Safe operation of equipment, safety first.
- Anticipate and communicate necessities required for production.
Job Requirements:
- Education sufficient to carry out assigned responsibilities.
- Commitment to quality and a desire to learn the art of pasta making.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds waist high, intermittently.
- Pass a pre-placement physical.
