About Us:
Healing the story of separation through regenerative cultural practices.
Eden Forest Collective is a 17-acre regenerative agriculture farm dedicated to sustainable food
production, community engagement, and ecological stewardship. There are between 5-15 of us
here on a typical day along with 1 lovable livestock guardian dog named Bella who is an angelic
great pyrenees. We have around 150 chickens, 30 ducks, 15 goats, 4 sheep, 2 parrots, 1 tortoise,
5 koi fish, and 10 cats.
Our farm integrates principles of syntropic farming, agroforestry, and regenerative agriculture to
cultivate a thriving, diverse landscape that benefits both people and the planet. We operate a
membership-based model and sell produce to local outlets while hosting events to educate and
engage our community.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bilingual Farm Manager (Spanish/English) to
oversee key operational aspects of our farm. This role will involve managing larger harvests,
overseee weekly orders, directing farm team efforts in alignment with our overall vision, and
creating a yearly harvest calendar to guide events and sales. Experience with Syntropic
farming is a significant plus. This position is ideal for a passionate individual who values
regenerative agriculture and enjoys working with a community-driven farm.
Key Responsibilities:
* Team Leadership: Direct farm team members to execute farm plans, ensuring alignment
with our regenerative and syntropic farming principles.
* Harvest Calendar Development: Create and maintain a yearly harvest calendar to
optimize sales and event planning.
* Harvest Management: Oversee and coordinate large-scale harvests to ensure quality and
efficiency as well as communicating when co-packers are needed for scheduling.
* Order Fulfillment: Check on weekly harvests and oversee preparing produce for
incoming orders, household needs, member needs and farm store stocking.
* Produce Availability Management: Keep the produce availability and upcoming
availability document up to date for sales and planning purposes.
* Farm Operations: Assist in maintaining farm infrastructure, soil health, and crop
rotation schedules. * Record Keeping: Oversee records for CCOF/ROC and general farm use records needed.
Effectively communicate these with Dir of Ops.
* Event Engagement: Support farm membership programs and farm events by working
alongside the events team to ensure that farm yearly plan and production aligns
production with workshops, farm-to-table events, and community gatherings including
outreach and education efforts through
* Community Engagement: When needed, support farm in community education events
Qualifications & Skills:
- Fluent in Spanish and English (Required)
- At least 5 years farming experience
- Preferred 1 year farm managing experience
- Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage teams and farm operations
- Knowledge of harvest cycles, crop planning, and order fulfillment
- Experience in regenerative agriculture, Syntropic farming, or permaculture
(Preferred) but if not, open to farming options without the use of chemical fertilizers,
pesticides, herbicides and outside inputs.
- Passion for community-focused farming and sustainable food systems
- Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions and lift 50 lbs if necessary
