What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operational Logistics Assistant position at EDEN Gallery?
Eden Gallery is a fast growing and innovative multi-cultural space currently operating 13 galleries globally. With 6 gallery locations in the U.S.A. and other galleries such as Dubai, London and more. Eden Gallery has a notable international presence with an even stronger influence on the contemporary art industry.
Eden Gallery New York is currently looking for a logistics and operations assistant to join our NY team .
WHAT YOU WILL DO :
Assist on the daily operation of the gallery, including, the incoming and outgoing of artworks from the gallery and to collectors.
Manage and prepare shipping labels accordingly.
Experience with time and schedule management.
Task follow-up with the rest of the team, follow up on orders from 3rd party vendors and with HQ.
Adhere to confidentiality, non-disclosure, privacy agreements, and security procedures at all times.
WHAT YOU HAVE :
Bachelor’s degree in administration / business / logistics, supply chain/high-volume inventory
and/or
2 years of equivalent work experience
Proficient with Microsoft excel and google sheets.
A fast-learner, able to work under deadlines and multitask.
Detail oriented.
Available to work 40 hour a week including holidays and weekends as needed
Demonstrate ability to work tactfully and effectively as a team with staff, third-party vendors, and the public at all levels in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
Professional behavior, presentation, and high self-standards for hygiene in a high-end art gallery
Strong initiative and work ethic with flexibility to respond to given directions and take action in changing circumstances often under pressure
