About the Role

At Eden Health, we are on a mission to revolutionize Americas metabolic health through accessible, science-backed telehealth services. As a Front End Developer, youll play a critical role in creating the visual and interactive elements of a website or web application, utilizing programming languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to design user interfaces that are functional, engaging, and provide a seamless user experience, all while working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

In this position, youll be part of a forward-thinking team, collaborating closely with frontend designers, product teams, and cross-functional stakeholders. Youll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects, solve complex problems, and help drive Edens exponential growth while continuously learning and pushing boundaries.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will focus on driving 10X growth by building and optimizing backend systems that enable seamless user experiences and scalable services.

• Optimize Infrastructure & Performance: Continuously improve backend systems, from load balancing to monitoring and alerting strategies. Youll help identify performance bottlenecks and optimize systems to handle 10X increases in traffic and transactions, ensuring our platform scales seamlessly.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with team leads and stakeholders to define, prioritize, and execute development tasks. Youll align backend infrastructure with the companys goals to drive exponential growth, improving both business outcomes and the customer experience.
• Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Stay updated on the latest technologies and trends in backend development. Youll contribute to Edens culture of innovation by suggesting and implementing new tools, techniques, and practices that support 10X product and infrastructure improvements.
• Coding with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript: Building the structure (HTML), styling (CSS), and interactive behavior (JavaScript) of website elements like buttons, menus, forms, and layouts.
• Designing user interfaces (UI): Implementing visual designs provided by designers, ensuring the website is user-friendly and visually appealing.
• Optimizing website performance: Improving page load speeds and responsiveness across different devices.
• Developing responsive web design: Creating websites that adapt to various screen sizes (desktop, mobile, tablet).
• Integrating with backend systems: Collaborating with back-end developers to connect front-end elements with database functionality.
• Testing and debugging: Identifying and fixing issues related to front-end code.
• Staying updated with web technologies: Keeping up with new frameworks, libraries, and best practices in front-end development.

Compensation at Eden will be determined by skills, experience, and geographic location. Eden has identified the expected annual base salary range for this role:$90,000-$150,000

At the launch of each position, we benchmark compensation to the appropriate role and level utilizing competitive compensation data from various data sources as references. At the offer stage, we use the signal we received from our interviews coupled with your experience, location, and other job-related factors to determine final compensation.
