**Role Summary:**
We are seeking a licensed mental health professional to join our team as a Therapist in correctional settings. This role involves conducting therapy sessions, performing psychosocial assessments, and providing crisis intervention.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions with patients
- Perform thorough psychosocial assessments to identify patient needs
- Provide crisis intervention services to support patients during challenging times
- Coordinate care for patients by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date treatment plans for patients
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop strategies for improvement
- Develop and lead training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills
- Document patient records accurately and efficiently
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Social Work or related field
- Unrestricted license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, etc.) required
- Counseling experience in correctional settings preferred
- BLS Certification required
- Background check and drug screening mandatory
