What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher Aide position at Eden II Programs?
Eden II's Genesis School is currently seeking Teacher Aides to join our team!
Job Responsibilities Include:
*Must Have Home Health Aide Experience*
- Implementing and collecting data on each student’s IEP goals and behavior management plans
- Discussing the progress of each student’s educational programs with the classroom teacher
- Assisting students, as needed, during activities of daily living, gym, etc. (Can vary depending on student’s specific needs)
- Leading or assisting in various group activities
- Aiding in development of educational materials
- Assist teachers in writing IEP goals, objectives and progress reports according to school and SED mandates
- Performing specialized physical health care services
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Previous healthcare experience required
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
- NYS Teacher Assistant Certification required within the first 12 months of employment.
- Availability to work on-site

Pay: $17.25 - $21.50 per hour
