Eden Prairie Schools is dedicated to hiring the best!
Eden Prairie Schools, home of the Eagles, is an incredible place for students to learn and grow. This district has enjoyed a long-standing reputation of excellence that is built on high expectations for our students and staff. We believe it is our purpose to create an environment of care and support where each student is inspired every day. We do this best by knowing each of our learners as individuals, recognizing their skills and motivations, and pushing them to excel.
More than 9,000 diverse student learners are provided an exceptional educational experience throughout the district’s five Elementary Schools (PreK-5), Spanish Immersion School (PreK-5), Middle School (6-8), High School (9-12), Transition Program, and K-12 Online School. Our dedicated teaching staff are caring, knowledgeable and a vital facet of our Eagle Nation.
Eden Prairie Schools recently acquired a new property (currently called the “Valley View Campus”) that is set to become a dynamic hub of educational innovation, designed to support both our students and staff in new and inspiring ways. At this facility, we will integrate several programs — both established and new — under one roof in a flexible, supportive, and forward-thinking environment that meets the evolving needs of our students. Valley View is the current home of TASSEL, the new home for Eden Prairie Online (EPO), and will become the home for our district’s newly-authorized ALC (Area Learning Center) to provide personalized support for students.
We are seeking educators who are innovators, leaders, and forward thinkers that will serve students across the integrated programs at our Valley View Campus. These staff members will play an integral role in creating and establishing the vision of this new site as they provide instruction and support to students each day.
Our ALC program will utilize a combination of: a) in-person, interdisciplinary project-based learning experiences where individual or small groups of students will demonstrate mastery of standards via an applied work portfolio each term; b) job-based work experiences with professional certification or micro-credential training completion; and c) online coursework through EPO. The teachers will serve as facilitators of learning, guiding students through their projects while holding them to high expectations and deadlines.
