About the Role
Eden Recovery is seeking an experienced Residential Detox Program Technician to provide support and supervision to clients during their recovery journey. The ideal candidate will have active certifications in RADT/RAC/SUDRC/EMT/CADC and CPR.
Key responsibilities include:
Responsibilities
* Supervise clients in self-administration of medication, document appropriately, and complete medication inventories
* Conduct routine facility checks to ensure safety and security, including client and property searches
* Conduct and document urine testing
* Attend all required staff training sessions and meetings
* Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, filing paperwork, and stocking supplies
* Clean the facility, including client's rooms, and ensure clients follow program and facility rules for safety
Requirements
* Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
* Active certifications in RADT/RAC/SUDRC/EMT/CADC and CPR
* Consent to randomized drug testing
* Upbeat and likeable personality with effective interpersonal skills
* Familiarity with relevant recovery literature and principles
* Knowledge of software programs for Windows PC and iPhone, particularly in Kipu, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and timekeeping phone apps

- Providing guidance, support, and positive role modeling to residents while monitoring behavior according to program guidelines.
- Facilitating two groups per shift and documenting them accurately in Kipu.
- Documenting all significant interactions in Kipu with each client.
- Providing safe transportation for scheduled appointments and activities, intervening in crisis situations when necessary.
- Assisting with meal preparation, laundry, and bed changes upon discharge of residents, ensuring assigned chores are completed.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of clients at all times.
