Prominent Law Firm has an immediate opening for a Junior Intellectual Property Associate for its IP and Transactional practice. Role will include working on transactional matters that include finance (secured transactions, commercial lending, and syndicated credit facilities), M & A, and due diligence work. The role will also support trademark, copyright, and patent prosecution matters.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in transactional matters, including drafting and reviewing documents for secured transactions, commercial lending, syndicated credit facilities, and mergers and acquisitions.
Conduct due diligence related to intellectual property assets in corporate transactions.
Support intellectual property prosecution efforts, including trademarks, copyrights, or patents.
Negotiate and resolve complex legal issues.
Collaborate with senior attorneys and practice groups to provide high-quality legal services across a range of industries.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong ability to work on adverse matters and engage confidently, knowledgably, and directly with challenging, sophisticated opposing counsel to achieve client goals.
Exceptional attention to detail in drafting, reviewing, and analyzing legal documents.
Demonstrated interest in intellectual property law and secured transactions.
Excellent academic performance from an accredited law school.
Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and team members.
Job Requirements
Education : Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent from an accredited law school.
Licensure : Admission to the North Carolina State Bar is preferred; candidates licensed in another jurisdiction must be eligible for admission or waiver into the NC Bar.
Experience : Entry-level or up to 2 years of relevant legal experience (law firm, clerkship, or internship experience in IP or transactional law is a plus).
