Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in complex intellectual property litigation matters, including patent and trade secret disputes.
- Manage all aspects of case preparation, including research, drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial preparation.
- Provide strategic legal counsel on a wide range of intellectual property issues.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while taking ownership of client matters.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and contribute to business development efforts.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of law firm experience in intellectual property litigation, with an emphasis on patent and/or trade secret cases.
- A preference for candidates with an undergraduate degree in computer science, electrical engineering, materials science, physics, or a related technical field (other degrees will be considered if supported by strong work experience).
- Strong academic credentials from law school and undergraduate studies.
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex legal concepts.
- Strong leadership potential and a proactive approach to increasing responsibility.
- Admission to the New York State Bar.
