Edenbrook Edina , part of the Eden Senior Care Network, is looking for an Activity Assistant for our beautiful facility!
We seek individuals devoted to fostering meaningful and purposeful lives for our residents. The Activity Assistant organizes and participates in person-specific activity programming, including one-to-one interventions, small-group facilitation, and large-group presentations. Capable of documenting individual participation and the value of approaches in the medical record.
Job functions will include :
- Assist with planning, coordinating, and implementing activities to meet the physical, spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and emotional needs of our residents
- Create environments where moments of joy, independence, and wellness are the focus every day
- Help design programs to encourage socialization
- Provide entertainment, relaxation, and fulfillment and improve daily living skills
- Prepare and maintain reports on resident’s progress
- Ensure activity areas are safe and well-maintained
- Generate enthusiasm to encourage and motivate participation
