Position: Regional Maintenance Director
Eden East is seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Maintenance Director to oversee maintenance services across six skilled nursing facilities within our portfolio. This key leadership role is responsible for ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental regulations while maintaining the highest standards of safety, sanitation, and operational efficiency. The Regional Maintenance Director will work closely with facility administrators and environment services teams to implement best practices that enhance the overall cleanliness, infection control, and safety of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the environmental services operations at six skilled nursing facilities within the Eden East portfolio.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to infection control, sanitation, safety, and hazardous waste management.
- Develop, implement, and maintain environmental policies and procedures to align with industry best practices and company standards.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess environmental services and implement necessary improvements.
- Provide leadership, training, and support to environmental services directors and housekeeping teams at each facility.
- Develop and manage budgets for environmental services across all locations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Collaborate with facility administrators and corporate leadership to drive continuous improvement in maintenance operations.
- Ensure proper maintenance of equipment, cleaning supplies, and compliance with OSHA, CDC, and EPA regulations.
- Lead emergency preparedness and response efforts for environmental and safety-related concerns.
- Monitor and implement sustainability initiatives to improve energy efficiency and waste reduction.
- Address and resolve maintenance concerns or deficiencies identified in internal and external audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Healthcare Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field (preferred but not required with significant experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance services management, preferably in a healthcare or skilled nursing setting.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel regularly between facilities within the region.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software.
