Position: RN/LPN Nurse Manager
Evansville Manor, a skilled nursing facility in the Eden Senior Care Network, is now hiring a RN/LPN Nurse Manager for our fantastic facility!
The RN/LPN Nurse Manager is instrumental in implementing the day-to-day functions of the nursing department to maintain standards of residents’ care.
Responsibilities:
- This position develops and implements nursing services, objectives, policies, and procedures in accordance with Federal and State regulations as well as local standards and guidelines.
- Designs, implements and evaluates nursing systems that ensure consistent delivery of care and maintain and promote resident rights.
- Conducts nursing rounds on all units several times per day, including the beginning and end of shift.
- Ensures that residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect.
- Participates as a member of the facility’s interdisciplinary management team in planning, policy formation, and administrative decision-making, with particular emphasis on the facility’s nursing services.
Education and/or Experience:
- Licensed with current Wisconsin nursing licensure required.
- Degree from an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program
- Experience in a long-term care setting required.
- Wound Care Certified or willing to be certified paid by the facility.
- Must be willing to be on-call every 3rd week and weekend.
- Experience with applicable state Survey Rules and regulations, Medicare and Medicaid.
- Required ability to use desktop/notebook computers, Microsoft Office products, and various medical equipment.
- Prior experience with PCC (Point Click Care) is a PLUS!
