Williamsport North Rehabilitation Nursing Center is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dedicated therapy team. The SLP will provide comprehensive speech therapy services to patients, helping them regain their communication and swallowing skills. Position : Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Primary Job Responsibilities :
- Perform therapy interventions using standard speech-language therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient’s condition.
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient progress or challenges to the supervisor, interdisciplinary team, and physicians as needed.
- Assist with patient scheduling and post charges to patient records daily, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
- Educate and train patients, families, and nursing staff on follow-through programs to support patient rehabilitation and therapy goals.
- Maintain equipment and therapy areas in a safe, organized, and clean manner, adhering to facility protocols and safety standards.
