Fair Oaks Lodge in Wadena, MN a skilled nursing facility in the Eden Senior Care Network, is now hiring a Full-Time Speech Therapist to provide rehabilitation services in one or more of our service locations!
Position : Full-Time Speech Therapist -$7,500 Sign On Bonus!
Primary Job Responsibilities :
- Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.
- Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
- Instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
- To evaluate and obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implantation.
- To develop a treatment plan that includes a target list, short-term and long-term goals.\
- Instructs patient, family, and staff in appropriate speech-language procedures to allow carry over of therapeutic remediation and goals in dally activities.
