Edenbrook Greenwood Hill is seeking a reliable and compassionate Transport Vehicle Operator to ensure the safe and timely transportation of our residents. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, safety-conscious, and enjoys interacting with seniors in a meaningful and respectful manner

Position: Transport Vehicle Operator/ Driver

Essential Functions:

• Ensure the safety and well-being of residents during transportation to and from appointments, outings, and facility-related trips
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the transport vehicle, both interior and exterior
• Perform pre-trip inspections and report any vehicle concerns or maintenance needs promptly
• Assist residents in and out of the vehicle, including the proper use of safety harnesses and lifts
• Follow assigned schedules and route plans in a timely and efficient manner
• Adhere to all traffic laws, facility policies, and safety protocols
• All other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Knowledge of safety harnesses, locking mechanisms, and lifts used in transport vehicles
• Familiarity with OSHA standards and other transportation safety requirements
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
• Ability to operate motor vehicle equipment safely and responsibly
• Patient, respectful, and committed to providing high-quality care and service

Requirements:

• Age: Must be at least 18 years old
• License: Valid Driver’s License
• Driving Record: Clean driving record
• Experience: No previous experience necessary
