Migration Consultant

Calypso Migration Consultant - Contract - Remote

My client are looking for a Migration Consultant to oversee the end-to-end migration from their legacy system to Calypso within a banking environment. This is a role will focus on project management, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring the seamless execution of this critical transformation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of trading and risk management systems, a proven track record in overseeing system migrations, and exceptional communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of the migration project.
• Act as the primary liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
• Develop and manage project timelines, deliverables, and milestones to ensure the migration stays on track.
• Identify and address potential risks, bottlenecks, and challenges throughout the migration process.
• Oversee system testing, data validation, and user acceptance processes to ensure successful implementation.
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to compliance, regulatory, and risk management standards throughout the migration.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in overseeing system migrations, preferably within a banking or financial services environment.
• Strong knowledge of Calypso.
• Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
• Familiarity with trading, risk management, and regulatory requirements within banking environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience with system testing, data validation, and user training is a plus.
