What are the responsibilities and job description for the Therapy Tech position at Eden Springs Nursing and Rehab Center?
Summary: To provide assistance to therapists in carrying out therapy department related activities which may include but are not limited to: patient transport, inventory control, clerical duties, and patient related activities which are predetermined and supervised by a licensed therapist according to state practice acts.
Job duties including but not limited to:
-Clean, assemble and maintain therapy equipment.
-Perform clerical duties as assigned by Rehab Director.
-Respect confidentiality and residents rights at all times.
-Help facilitate daily flow of therapy schedules and activities as assigned by Rehab Director.
All employees that are directly involved in tasks that involve potential exposure to infectious material must follow universal precautions.
Physical activity: Crouching, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing.
Visual acuity: Inspection, close assembly, clerical.
Education: High School graduate or GED equivalent.
Experience: Two years in healthcare or therapy preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
