What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher position at Eden Supportive Living?
The dishwashers are responsible for providing guests and employees with clean and sanitized utensils, plate ware, glassware and equipment. On occasion, they may assist with light kitchen cleaning and maintenance.
Principal Responsibilities:
· Ensure dishes are sanitized and available as needed.
· Maintain daily cleanliness and maintenance of dish machine and keep chemicals up to company codes at all times. Set up dish machine in the AM and close down machine in the PM according to procedures
· Wash plate ware, glassware, silverware, pots/pans and kitchen utensils according to procedures
· Clean and sanitize kitchen areas throughout the shift: sweep, mop, wipe countertops and empty trash as needed
· Return clean dishware and cookware to specified shelves according to sanitation and cleaning procedures
· Complete assigned food prep work, food stocking and shift change and/or closing duties as directed.
· Troubleshoot dishwasher machine malfunctions. Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual circumstances with equipment or plumbing.
· Attend staff meetings and in-service training as required.
· Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of the position
· Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees and guests to foster and promote a harmonious working climate that maximizes morale, productivity and efficiency
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour
