About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Limited X-Ray Technician to join our team on a per-diem basis. As an X-Ray Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations to assist in the diagnosis of medical conditions. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Limited X-Ray Technician through CDPH-RHB
- Experience working in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Current BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- Experience working with electronic medical records (EMRs)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and schedules
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging examinations
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures and ensure their comfort and safety
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring it is in good working order
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and make diagnoses
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient confidentiality
