We are searching for a strong “jack of all trades” to join our startup and manage our products: Purchasing ingredients and packaging. Coordinating manufacturing and material delivery for timely product production. Working with accounting systems to ensure vendors are paid. Ensuring product certifications are up to date. You will work with scientists, vendors, and contract manufacturers to ensure the best quality skincare products for our customers.
We are a start-up. The right candidate will be asked to wear different hats, jump in where needed and play an early role in the growth of our company. You will learn about the cosmetics industry!
You will work hand and hand with the Delavie team to ensure that logistical and supply chain operations are executed in a timely manner. They will be responsible for inventory management and will work with the accounting team to rectify end-of-month reports, generation of purchase orders, and order fulfillment with our distribution partner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee DTC channels (Amazon and Shopify) inventory and sales and work accounting for SKU management.
- Work with various contract manufacturers to manage the production of Delavie Sciences consumer products.
- Source packaging, bottles, etc. for the development of new products.
- Maintain proper regulatory and certification requirements for Delavie’s consumer products including, but is not limited to, certification claims, and FDA portal submissions.
- Have experience with Intacct Accounting Software, Shopify, Amazon, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Maintaining inventories and driving sales of our commercial raw ingredients
- Work with customer service and marketing for various events, such as trade shows and marketing events, and troubleshooting customer requirements via email and telephone
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or similar.
- Experience in consumer product goods, supply chain, logistics, order management is ideal, but will train.
- Understanding and executing basic inventory principles, purchase orders, and forecasting.
- Marketing, purchasing and/or sales background would be a plus.
- Speak, read, write and understand professional English
