What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ticket agent position at Edens Corporation?
DescriptionResponsible for the safe, efficient and timely operation of a ticket sales office. This includes sales and record keeping functions, knowledge of operating tariff, geographical area, and Railroad operations, opening and closing office procedures, minor housekeeping duties, observing security and safety measures, maintenance or facility problems.Sell and load SEPTA Key cards.Provide superior and accurate customer service. Receive, track and secure SEPTA key card inventory.Reconcile sales activity. Efficiently operate office equipment such as chrome book, credit/debit verification equipment, calculator, fax machine, telephone and public address system.Provide emergency service as directed by supervisor or SEPTA management personnel (i.e., salt platforms during snow and ice storm) lifting approximately 15 to 30 lbs.Flexible with schedule on holidays when needed and with special events (i.e., Auto show, Flower show).Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required. Must pass a criminal background and substance abuse screening.
