About the role
Are you passionate about emerging technologies and their applications in the energy sector?
We are looking for a dynamic and curious individual to join our Digital Innovation Team, whose mission is to explore and leverage cutting-edge advancements in AI, Quantum, Cybersecurity, Robotics, and other emerging technologies to drive strategic growth and innovation at EDF.
As part of the team, you will contribute to:
- Tracking and analyzing technological trends through daily tech monitoring.
- Conducting market studies to assess strategic opportunities.
- Developing proof-of-concepts to test and validate innovative solutions.
In this role, you will have a strong focus on analyzing Generative AI and Cybersecurity trends in the energy industry. You may also explore topics related to AI Agents and Robotics.
This position does not require deep technical expertise but rather a strong curiosity and solid understanding of emerging technologies, their impact, and their applications. We are looking for a hybrid technical-business profile, capable of connecting technological advancements with strategic opportunities.

Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who:
- Are currently pursuing a degree (undergraduate, master’s, or MBA) in energy, technology, or innovation with experience or interest in digital transformation.
- Have a strong understanding of emerging technologies, including AI, cybersecurity, robotics, and their potential applications in the energy sector.
- Are curious, proactive, and have a strategic mindset, with an eagerness to explore new technological trends and assess their application in the energy industry.
- Possess strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Are comfortable working independently, while also collaborating effectively in a multicultural, international environment.
- Must have authorization to work in the US.
Key responsibilities:
Specific duties and responsibilities include, among others:
- Deliver a report on Generative AI and Cybersecurity in the energy industry, analyzing key use cases, and emerging trends in open hardware.
- Performing market studies to assess trends and competitive landscapes in Robotics and other technologies.
- Conduct technology monitoring and contribute to our innovation newsletter.
- Collaborate with partners and EDF teams in the US, France, China, and the UK to shape a forward-looking vision of digital innovation in the energy industry.
- Present findings clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders.
All of these tasks will be related to the work already carried out by EDF in previous years. The person may perform other duties assigned.
