Position Summary:
The District Manager is responsible for leading multiple bakery locations, ensuring operational success, achieving financial goals, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer service. This role requires a hands-on leader who can coach, develop, and support store managers while driving business performance and operational consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop management teams, including General Managers.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and feedback to drive performance and employee growth.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture across multiple locations.
Operational Excellence:
- Conduct regular store visits to assess operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement and enforce company policies, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
- Address operational challenges and create action plans for improvement.
Strategic Management:
- Set and monitor regional sales goals, labor budgets, and revenue projections.
- Oversee marketing efforts to maintain brand consistency across locations.
- Ensure each store operates within budget and achieves profitability targets.
Customer Experience & Quality Control:
- Ensure a consistent and outstanding customer service experience at all locations.
- Address complex customer inquiries or concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
- Maintain high product quality standards and adherence to company recipes and presentation.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, local health codes, and company policies.
- Conduct thorough store audits and follow up on corrective actions as needed.
- Analyze business performance reports and implement strategies for improvement.
Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in multi-unit management, preferably in food service or retail.
- Proven ability to drive sales, manage budgets, and develop high-performing teams.
Skills:
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess operational data and implement solutions.
