Cake Decorator

Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative individual to join our team as a Cake Decorator. In this role, you will be responsible for creating stunning cake masterpieces for our customers, ranging from simple designs to intricate works of art. The ideal candidate will already possess advanced decorating skills, a keen attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality cakes that exceed both company and customer standards. Decorating experience is required for this position. If you currently have no experience, please apply to our "Cake Decorator Apprentice" position.

Responsibilities:

• Cake Decoration: Decorate cakes according to customer specifications, ensuring that each cake is beautifully and meticulously crafted.
• Smooth Icing: Ice cakes smoothly and evenly to create a perfect canvas for decoration.
• Design Execution: Execute cake designs with precision and attention to detail, incorporating various techniques such as icing, stacking, and decorating.
• Feedback Acceptance: Be open to receiving feedback and coaching to continuously improve decorating skills and achieve the highest standards of quality.
• Adherence to Standards: Maintain consistency in decorating techniques and adhere to company and customer standards for quality and design.
• Efficiency: Work efficiently to meet production goals and deadlines while maintaining the highest level of craftsmanship.
• Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including proper storage and handling of decorating tools and supplies.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of cake orders.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on current trends and techniques in cake decorating, and strive to master all aspects of cake making.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in cake decorating required (See our Cake Decorator Apprentice position if you would like to learn the craft!).
• Strong artistic and creative skills with an eye for detail.
• Ability to smoothly ice cakes and decorate them to a high standard.
• Coachable attitude with a willingness to learn and accept feedback.
• Passion for excellence and a desire to continuously improve skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
