Position: Distribution Expeditor

Position Overview:

If you’re the type of person who likes to stay active, think fast, and keep things moving — this is the role for you. We’re looking for a sharp and energetic Sorting Specialist to join our team. In this physically active, high-impact role, you’ll be responsible for sorting and organizing all outgoing products by location to ensure an efficient and smooth delivery process.

This job isn’t for someone who wants to sit still — you’ll average 15,000 steps per shift, and your speed, memory, and focus will directly impact the entire flow of our production team. You’ll help keep everyone on track, ensuring that the right items go to the right place at the right time.

Responsibilities:

• Product Sorting: Accurately sort finished baked goods, deli items, and packaged products by delivery location or order.
• Workflow Support: Keep the flow moving by quickly staging items for the next team in the process — from packers to drivers.
• Prioritization: Evaluate what needs to be moved or sorted first based on urgency, deadlines, and volume.
• Cross-Department Communication: Work closely with packing, shipping, and logistics teams to stay aligned and responsive to changing priorities.
• Multitasking: Juggle multiple product types, locations, and priorities with accuracy and efficiency.
• Jump In Where Needed: Be ready to lend a hand anywhere the workflow is backing up.
• Physical Activity: Stay on your feet, lift up to 50 lbs, and keep a strong pace throughout the day — think of it as paid cardio.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong working memory — you’ll need to remember store names, order groupings, and where everything goes.
• Quick reflexes and strong prioritization skills.
• Dependable, organized, and calm under pressure.
• Comfortable in a physically demanding environment (lifting, walking, and standing for full shifts).
• Prior experience in food production, warehouse sorting, or shipping is a plus, but not required.
• A team player who takes pride in being the person others can count on to keep things moving.

• Full-time | Monday through Friday | Morning Shift

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
