The Field Service Coordinator is responsible for resolving quality issues with installed stair systems. This role involves direct interaction with clients to ensure satisfaction with installed and warrantied systems.
Essential Functions:
- Respond to client inquiries and complaints related to structural or cosmetic issues with installed stair systems.
- Identify and document the root cause of quality variances, including specification errors, construction deviations, manufacturing defects, delivery damages, or installation mistakes.
- Maintain detailed logs of repairs, identifying causes and corrective actions.
- Perform the following types of stair system repairs:
o Cosmetic Repairs: Address scratches, dents, splits, and water damage.
o Structural Repairs: Correct framing variances or replace broken components.
o Squeaks: Resolve issues such as manufacturing defects using shims or other techniques.
o Modifications: Perform tasks like adding or removing risers, changing treads, or adjusting rough openings.
- Provide superior customer service, contribute to a positive work environment
- Accurately document repair details, including time, materials, complaint causes, costs, and completion status.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in stair installation, carpentry, or a related field.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing structural and cosmetic issues in stair systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction plans.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience working remotely with satellite offices
• Flexibility to travel to client sites as needed.
• Strong work ethic
• Highly reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Physical Demands:
• Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds and performing physical labor, including climbing, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in various indoor and outdoor environments, including active construction sites.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position. Field work environment.
Travel:
Travel is required for this position (up to 100%)
