We are seeking a skilled and experienced Driver Trainer to join our team, ideally with a military background in vehicle operation (MOS 88M, 3531, or 3533). The Driver Trainer will be responsible for providing comprehensive training to our drivers, ensuring compliance with Company Fleet Management Policies, and promoting safe, accident-free driving practices across all company locations. This role requires previous experience in training or presenting, as well as the ability to travel to various company sites as needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Train new and existing drivers in safe driving techniques, company policies, and vehicle operation standards.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of drivers to identify areas for improvement and provide targeted coaching.
- Develop and deliver training materials and presentations to support a culture of safety and compliance.
- Monitor driver performance and ensure adherence to fleet management policies, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
- Travel to company locations to conduct in-person training sessions, audits, and evaluations.
- Work collaboratively with fleet management to address specific safety concerns, promote the best practices, and ensure consistent training experience across all sites.
- Assist with any other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record
• Military driving experience required (MOS 88M, 3531, or 3533).
• Prior experience in training, coaching, or presenting, preferably within a transportation or fleet environment.
• Strong knowledge of safe driving techniques and fleet safety regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with drivers and management, and to present information in a clear, engaging manner.
• Willingness to travel frequently to various company locations.
• Certification in defensive driving or fleet safety training.
• Previous experience with compliance audits or fleet management systems.
• Excellent Teamwork
Physical Demands:
Extended periods of standing, warehouse and outside conditions.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position.
Travel:
Travel is required for this position (>50%)
