Position Summary
The Associate Business Advisor is an entry-level sales and support role designed for professionals looking to break into the world of business brokerage and M&A advisory. Associates are embedded in a team and work closely with both a Director and a Buyer Coordinator, gaining hands-on experience in client service, business development, and deal execution. This is a sales development role that offers mentorship, structured growth, and exposure to real transactions from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in outbound sales efforts, follow-up with prospects, and client outreach
- Support valuations, pricing analysis, and financial recasting
- Help create CIMs, teasers, and other deal marketing materials
- Manage CRM updates, due diligence documents, and client/buyer correspondence
- Participate in client meetings, shadow negotiations, and support closing processes
- Collaborate with the Buyer Coordinator to learn buyer screening and lead management
- Work alongside the Director to develop skills and progress toward independently managing listings
Growth Path
- Promotion to Business Advisor targeted within 12–18 months
- Structured exposure to all aspects of client acquisition and deal execution

Requirements
