What are the responsibilities and job description for the SharePoint Architect position at Edge Global?
Role : - SharePoint Architect
Location : - Hybrid in Lebanon, NJ
- M365 & SharePoint Online Expertise : Extensive experience designing, implementing, and managing SharePoint Online solutions within the M365 ecosystem, including site architecture, permissions, metadata, and governance best practices.
- M365, SharePoint and OneDrive administration experience
- Customization & Development : Proficiency in SharePoint Framework (SPFx), PowerShell, PnP, and modern web development (React, TypeScript) to extend SharePoint capabilities and enhance user experience.
- Security & Compliance : Deep understanding of SharePoint security, sensitivity labels, retention policies, and integration with Microsoft Purview for compliance in regulated environments.
- Migration & Modernization : Hands-on experience migrating legacy SharePoint environments to SharePoint Online, including content restructuring, automation, and hybrid configurations. This can included tenant-to-tenant migrations or file share migrations using native tools or equivalent solutions like ShareGate or AvePoint
Beneficial Experience - Power Platform & Automation : Strong knowledge of Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI for building custom workflows, automation, and integrations within SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
