TURF CARE TECHNICIAN
Edge Landscaping, headquartered in Wilmington, NC, is currently hiring for a Turf Care Technician
Position Overview - Responsibilities:
- Properly and safely apply herbicides, fungicides and insecticides to lawns, trees and shrubs
- Always ensure safety by following product label instructions and correct procedures
- Follow set service schedule
- Must be capable of properly mixing all products that are used exactly to the label’s instructions
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Able to correctly identify area weeds
- Diagnose and resolve pest and disease problems
- Utilize our smartphone based scheduling program and document daily applications
- Apply all products according to NC state guidelines
- Perform all work to the highest safety standards possible
- Perform routine maintenance of equipment
- Communicate Daily with Management
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Must have a positive attitude with attention to detail. Caring about quality of work and being professional.
- Work with limited supervision to carry out assigned tasks as well as respect business and clients property.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
