What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Construction Laborer position at Edge Outdoors?
We are seeking a Concrete Worker for a full-time, year-round position with overtime opportunities. This role requires approximately 75% travel, with all expenses covered. Travel typically lasts 1-2 weeks at a time, followed by 2-4 days at home.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials.
- Transport materials and equipment on-site.
- Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Properly mix materials.
- Perform hands-on concrete work, repairs, and apply various trowel-down systems.
- Operate power tools as needed.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (must be eligible to drive company vehicles).
- Willingness to travel 75% or more when local work is unavailable.
- Previous experience with concrete and/or epoxy is preferred.
- Strong focus on job site safety.
- Ability to work in extreme outdoor weather conditions.
- Motivated to learn and grow in the concrete and epoxy installation trade.
Concrete Worker Compensation:
- Starting pay of $19-$21 per hour for qualified candidates (based on experience)
- Paid travel time, hotel, AND $35 per day per diem.
