What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Assembler position at Edge Outdoors?
Now searching for a Machine Assembler to work in an industrial setting. We are looking for candidates with 3 years of experience with assembling industrial machines and cranes. This is a full-time role with full benefits. You will be working in a shop environment on day shift Mon-Fri.
Machine Assembler Responsibilities:
- Participate in the assembly of large industrial machinery.
- Reads and interprets blueprints, layout plans and other schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- During assembly, install motors, couplings, bearings, and electrical components in accordance with the specifications on the plan.
- Aligns machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs
- Conduct final inspections and corrections to guarantee that the items are of an exceptional quality.
Machine Assembler Qualifications:
- Strong Blueprint reading ability
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat and lift to 50 lbs.
- Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- At least 3-year related shop experience from fabrication or machine assembly.
