We’re working on behalf of a healthcare organization whose center in Stockton, California has been serving their Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) participants since 2019. They serve a diverse population of seniors, including a large Latino population. Their team has helped to establish strong relationships with senior support organizations in the community.
We seek a California licensed candidates with two (2) or more years of occupational therapy experience in a clinical setting with a frail or elderly population for the role of Occupational Therapist. The person in this role will conduct Occupational Therapy assessments to define the Occupational Therapy care needs, preferences, and goals of the participants and actively participate in Interdisciplinary Team meetings to develop participant care plans. She/he will deliver and document Occupational Therapy interventions in accordance with physician orders and/or as agreed upon in the participants’ care plans including but not limited to the use of devices, techniques, and activities to promote muscle re-education, perceptual-motor and cognitive function, balance, endurance, and other factors affecting the level of independence in performing ADLs. She/he will supervise the Therapy Assistants including providing training, instruction and guidance needed to implement Functional Maintenance Programs (FMP).
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Accredited Program AOTA & ACOTE standards. Must have two (2) years of occupational therapy experience in a clinical setting with a frail or elderly population. Must have two (2) years of supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members preferred Must have registration from National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
The role includes highly competitive compensation (salary to $120,000 based on experience) Bonus Equity.
