We’re working on behalf of 461-bed multispecialty hospital that offers a full range of medical services plus state-of-the-art treatments in the areas of traumatic injury, microsurgery and nuclear medicine. The hospital boasts 60 years of hospital care to Central Valley communities and beyond. The hospital has been designated by the American College of Surgeons as a Level II Trauma Center. All trauma patients have access to specialists, both surgical and non-surgical, to facilitate a rapid and full recovery from injuries.
We seek candidates with 2 or more years of relevant experience for the role of Physician Assistant - Trauma. The person in this role will provide direct patient care including gathering detailed history and performing physical exams. He/she will perform or order tests and interpret results. He/she will administer therapeutic procedures as directed. He/she will instruct on care and maintain written charts and records on patients. He/she will maintain appropriate manual and electronic records (EMR).
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school PA program and be licensed as a Physician Assistant in the state of California (or have the ability to gain this licensure). Must have current BLS and be DEA eligible.
