We’re working on behalf of a 120-bed facility whose Continuing Care Facility provides subacute care, skilled nursing care, and long-term care. The facility provides a solution for long term and transitional care, featuring 24-hour nursing services as well as physical, occupational, and speech therapy. We seek a California licensed Registered Nurse with five (5) or more years of experience as an RN in a SNF or acute care setting for the role of Director of Nursing - Long Term Care. The person in this role will administer the nursing program as a department of the hospital in alignment with the CNO/COO, in order to maintain standards of patient/resident care. She/he will advise management, patient/resident care staff, and hospital CEO in matters related to nursing service. She/he will recommend establishment or revision of policies and develops organizational structure and standards of performance. In collaboration with the hospital CNO/COO, she/he will interpret policies and objectives of nursing service to staff and community groups. She/he will develop budgets, integrate with hospital guidelines, and comply with Balanced Score Card targets.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and be licensed as an RN in the state of California. Preference given to candidates with a BSN. Must have at least 5 years of experience as an RN in a SNF or acute care environment that includes at least 3 years of nursing leadership experience. Must have current CPR.
