We’re working on behalf of 461-bed multispecialty hospital that offers a full range of medical services plus state-of-the-art treatments in the areas of traumatic injury, microsurgery and nuclear medicine. The hospital boasts 60 years of hospital care to Central Valley communities and beyond. The hospital has been designated by the American College of Surgeons as a Level II Trauma Center. All trauma patients have access to specialists, both surgical and non-surgical, to facilitate a rapid and full recovery from injuries.
We seek a Registered Nurse with 3-5 years Emergency or Critical Care experience and demonstrated trauma program management experienced for the role of Trauma Program Manager. The person in this role will demonstrate professional competency in the nursing process, plans, develops, implements, and evaluates the care of critically injured patients. Responsibilities of this role include clinical practice, record maintenance of the trauma registry and it’s Quality Improvement reports, and educational programs for all personnel involved in care of the trauma patient (both prevention and all phases of care). She/he will monitor patient’s clinical progress during hospitalization. She/he will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the trauma services, actively participate in the staffing, budgetary, planning, leadership and quality improvement of the department.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and be licensed as an RN in the state of California (or have the ability to gain this licensure). Must have current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Must acquire both ENPC and TNCC certifications within 6 months of hire. Must have 3-5 years ER or Critical Care experience.
