Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Mitigation Manager to lead our branch’s mitigation and remediation services. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of mitigation operations, from selling and managing projects to leading a team and fostering strong relationships with referral partners. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a proven track record in mitigation
services, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, on-call environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development: Actively sell mitigation and remediation jobs, identifying opportunities, preparing estimates, and closing contracts to meet revenue goals.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency calls, coordinating rapid mitigation efforts to minimize property damage and ensure client satisfaction.
- On-Call Shifts: Participate in rotating on-call schedules, ensuring 24/7 availability for urgent mitigation needs.
- Referral Partner Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance agents, adjusters, property managers, and other referral partners to drive business growth.
- Project Management: Oversee all mitigation projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and compliance with industry standards (e.g., IICRC).
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of mitigation technicians and coordinators, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and excellence.
- Operational Oversight: Manage branch operations, including resource allocation, equipment maintenance, and adherence to company policies and safety regulations.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in mitigation, restoration, or a related field, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of mitigation processes (e.g., water, fire, mold remediation) and industry standards (IICRC certification preferred).
- Sales Skills: Proven ability to sell mitigation services, negotiate contracts, and build client relationships.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Availability: Willingness to work on-call shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and respond to emergencies promptly.
- Certifications: IICRC certifications (e.g., WRT, ASD, AMRT) or equivalent highly desirable.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks in varying conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License: Clean driving record and reliable transportation required.
