Med/Surg RN

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients undergoing various medical treatments. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Duties

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status, including vital signs and medical history.
• Administer medications and injections as prescribed, ensuring proper documentation in medical records.
• Provide care for patients with diverse needs, including those requiring dementia care and internal medicine support.
• Assist in discharge planning by educating patients and families on post-treatment care and follow-up.
• Operate medical equipment such as neonatal ventilators and esthetic laser treatment devices when necessary.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

• Proven experience in a clinical setting, particularly in medical/surgical nursing.
• Familiarity with systems used for patient management and documentation.
• Experience administering injections and managing patient care related to discharge planning.
• Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and interventions for patients requiring ventilatory support.
• Previous exposure to dementia care practices is preferred.
