We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute care and be passionate about providing exceptional patient care. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing complex patient needs and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and laboratory results.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including venipuncture and gastric lavage.
- Perform advanced procedures such as cardiac catheterization and botulinum toxin treatment when necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct case management duties, ensuring continuity of care throughout the patient's hospital stay.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, procedures, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in an ICU or acute care setting preferred.
- Proficient in patient care techniques, including suture application and CT procedures.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and patient education.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
