Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians while ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ health status and document findings accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Cerner or Athenahealth.
- Provide care in various settings including medical-surgical units, clinics, and during cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Assist in the management of patient care plans, including infant care when necessary.
- Utilize sonography and CT imaging techniques as part of diagnostic procedures when applicable.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
Experience
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred, particularly in medical-surgical nursing or specialized areas such as cardiac care or pediatrics.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems (e.g., Cerner, Athenahealth) is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated proficiency in medication administration and aseptic technique is essential.
- Experience with diagnostic imaging techniques such as sonography or CT is a plus.
