Because every decision is made with factual, data-driven inputs, traders are expected to confidently stand by their actions and proactively and effectively communicate any deviation from expected value.
What you will do:
- Proactively manage the desk’s position to ensure the portfolio falls within assigned risk limits
- Monitor trading algorithms and provide feedback to researchers and developers on areas of improvement
- Devise new, innovative ways to tune trading parameters to increase desk profitability
- Work across the entire organization to improve systems and overall firm performance
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experienced trader with 2-5 years of experience with proven track record of success
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, or related field
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
- Ability to take on many responsibilities quickly with a high degree of operational excellence
- Python programming skills are a plus, but not required
