Edgeland is in search of a Project Manager to contribute to client projects through conceptual design, urban planning, and construction administration. You will lead our team to develop sustainable and collaborative outdoor spaces that encourage learning through nature-based play.
Your Impact:
Prepare detailed construction documents including but not limited to site plans, construction details, specifications, cost estimates, bid proposals
Successful management of projects from conceptual design through completion of construction documents
Managing projects through construction, change orders, and preparing reports
Lead teams and supervise staff to deliver projects that meet deadlines and budget requirements
Engage and retain clients as well as mentor and develop junior staff
Visit project sites to monitor construction progress and work quality
Provide technical assistance and coordinate with clients and other professional disciplines on individual projects
Here's What You'll Need:
5 years of experience, preferably in K-12 schools, higher education, or commercial projects
Bachelor's degree from an accredited landscape architecture program
Proven skills in all aspects of a project phase including schematic design, construction documentation, permitting, project management, and construction administration
Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office
Exceptional presentation and drawing skills
Strong design graphic skills in photoshop, Sketch Up, and Lumion
Proficient knowledge of construction detailing and methodologies
Ability to work with allied disciplines and consultants through all project phases from concept through construction
