Edgeless Beauty Group is seeking motivated and detail-oriented accounting interns to join our finance team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for junior and senior finance students to gain hands-on experience in the field of accounting, specifically focusing on accounts payables and receivables. The selected candidates will work closely with our finance professionals to support daily operations, enhance their skills, and contribute to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the processing of accounts payables, including invoice verification, coding, and timely payment processing.
- Support the accounts receivable function by posting transactions, reconciling accounts, and assisting in the collection process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial information and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of journal entries and financial reports.
- Participate in the payroll processing cycle, ensuring accurate and timely disbursement of employee salaries.
- Assist in benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with the HR department to maintain accurate employee records related to payroll and benefits.
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Finance or related field.
- Strong academic record with a focus on accounting and finance coursework.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting software.
Schedule:
- Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5pm
