Neroli Salon & Spa is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in leading our team to consistently deliver a 5-star guest experience. This role focuses on coaching, mentoring, and inspiring the retail team to ensure guests receive a memorable and elevated experience from beginning to end. The Assistant General Manager will help meet overall salon & spa benchmarks by overseeing key aspects of daily operations, focusing on staff development, retail success, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure productivity goals are met by providing front-line support, engaging with team members, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Oversee scheduling, interviewing, and onboarding of retail team members and spa attendants to ensure proper staffing levels and smooth transitions for new hires.
- Facilitate new hire training, onboarding, and ongoing development for non-technical team members, ensuring continuous growth and skill enhancement.
- the retail team by setting and monitoring goals, incentives, and providing ongoing mentoring and coaching to drive success.
- Conduct regular performance assessments for non-technical team members, offering constructive feedback and development opportunities through 10/10s.
- Ensure concierge services and Aveda rituals are consistently delivered, maintaining guest amenities, and building strong guest relationships by addressing feedback and concerns.
- Facilitate Aveda Advisor Team meetings, both in-person and virtually, to keep communication and training on track.
- Handle other assigned duties as needed to support the overall operations of the salon and spa.
- Assist guests with product purchases and coach team members on closing sales.
- Participate in personal and team goal-setting processes, mentoring staff in setting and achieving their own goals.
- Assist with creating and managing retail team monthly schedules, ensuring alignment with salon needs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of salon, spa, or related experience.
- Previous retail management experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a passion for guest service.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, providing front-line support to both team members and guests.
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
