Position Overview : Edgesource is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Software Engineer supporting our government Sponsor. The person in this position will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing a variety of systems. Our team is currently focused on the containerization of a large Service Bus architecture, and your expertise will contribute to the success of our mission-critical systems. This position is located in the Chantilly, VA area requiring that all job duties be performed onsite full-time.
Job Duties :
- Participate in the development of a Microservices-based, Cloud Agnostic, System Architecture
- Develop user stories, participate in daily Stand-Ups, bi-weekly Sprint Planning and quarterly Planning Increment Events
- Develop software, unit tests and installation procedures in a variety of languages based on tasking
- Work with the test team to develop Integration Test Plans
- Provide Tier 3 Support (business hours only) for an existing Mission System
